About paolt

paolt is an online marketplace that lets customers in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, find and book independent home-cleaning agencies. paolt is not a cleaning company. Each cleaning service is provided by the agency you book, which is responsible for its staff and the quality of its work.

Your account

You must be at least 18 years old and give accurate information when you create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.

Bookings

• Agencies set their own rates, services and extras, which are shown before you book.
• A booking is confirmed when the agency accepts it. The agency assigns the cleaner.
• Please make sure the agency can access your home at the booked time.

Payments

Prices are shown in UAE dirhams (AED). When you pay in the app, your payment is held securely by paolt and our payment provider and released to the agency after the job is completed. If something goes wrong, contact us promptly so we can review the booking before funds are released.

Cancellations and refunds

You can cancel a booking in the app. Cancellation terms and any applicable fees are shown before you confirm. Where a job is not carried out as booked, we will work with you and the agency to agree a fair outcome, which may include a full or partial refund.

Reviews and conduct

Reviews must be honest and based on a real booking. Please treat agencies and their cleaners with respect. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or misuse the platform.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, paolt is not liable for the services provided by agencies. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under UAE consumer protection law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates, and disputes are subject to the courts of Dubai.
